Gatsby Top
The lovely silhouettes of the 1920’s and 30’s are hat I had in mind when started to work on this top. I put on some jazz, got our some powder pink yarn and started knitting. I can see Greta Garbo in this one!
It’s knitted bottom-up and with two very different weight yarn. The bulky alpaca use in the yoke is inspired by the effect of the glamorous fur shoulder wrappings of the jazz age. This version is cheaper and more animal friendly too.
