DESCRIPTION
Gavina Scarflette is worked flat in one piece, from tip to tip, in 1x1 (double) twisted rib stitch, with well refined edges. This reversible stitch looks just as good on the wrong side as it does on the right side.

Gavina Scarflette is the perfect mid-season scarflette you can always carry in your handbag.
The chosen colors are classic but not ordinary: a pearl gray and a soft navy blue.

There are three options for the length: S (short) (the scarflette can be wrapped around the neck once), M (medium) (for wrapping it twice) and L (long) (for wrapping it three times).

The beginning of the scarflette is shaped with increases. Once the established width is reached, then comes the body section, worked without increases in three sizes. Once preferred body length is reached, a decrease section shapes the other side of the scarflette until the other tip.

(70% Baby Alpaca, 30% Mulberry Silk, approx. 384 meters (420 yards), 50 grams (1,76 ounces) per skein).
Colorway 1 (Light yarn): Pearl
Colorway 2 (Dark yarn): Paris Night

1(2)2 Skeins of suggested yarn or about 384 (680) 768 m (420 (744) 840 yards) of similar lace weight yarn. In size S, the scarflette uses up all of the yardage of the skein.

Important: The scarfette is worked in 4 strands of yarn held together throughout (lace + lace + lace + lace = DK).

NEEDLES

Size 3 mm (US 2.5) - 60 cm (24 inches) circular needle or size 3 mm (US 2.5) straight needles or size to obtain pattern gauge.

The scarflette is worked flat (back and forth).

38 Stitches and 25 Rows in 10 cm (about 4 inches) after blocking in 1x1 (double) twisted rib stitch pattern.

DESCRIZIONE DEL PATTERN


La sciarpina Gavina è lavorata in piano in un unico pezzo, da punta a punta, a coste ritorte con bordi ben rifiniti.
Questo punto reversibile appare bello sia sul dritto che sul rovescio del lavoro.

La sciarpina Gavina è perfetta da tenere in borsa nella mezza stagione.
I colori scelti sono classici ma non banali: un grigio perla e un blu navy desaturato.

Ci sono tre opzioni per la lunghezza: S (corta) (la sciarpina può essere avvolta una volta intorno al collo), M (media) (la sciarpina può essere avvolta due volte) e infine L (lunga) (la sciarpina viene avvolta per tre volte intorno al collo).

La parte iniziale della sciarpina è modellata con gli aumenti. Terminata la sezione con gli aumenti, inizia quella del corpo, che viene lavorata senza aumenti in tre misure di lunghezza.
Una volta che si raggiunge la lunghezza del corpo, una sezione di diminuzioni modella l’altro lato della sciarpina in maniera speculare alla parte iniziale.

Adattare sempre la misura dei ferri per ottenere il campione.
