This pattern offers both a Beanie Option (all sizes) and a Slouch Hat Option (adult sizes only).

There are 2 (charted) colour work options included: one with 2 colours, and one with 4. The difference in the application of the charts, is that in the Slouch Hat (upper 2/adult sizes only) there are 2 chart repeats, while in the Beanie Option (all sizes) there is only 1 chart repeat.

With SHORT FLOATS across the back of the work also in it’s favour, you can be confident that this pattern should be beginner friendly, for anyone wanting to experiment with colour work in the round . The charts are colour coded, and so clear and easy to follow, that written instructions for the charted rows are not necessary. Good, clear guidance is given on when and how to work these rows, rest assured.

A limitless number of colour combinations could arise from this intuitive but effective design, which has the potential to inspire many, distinctively different hats.
