Gebo
In divination, the rune Gebo means a thoughtful gift, freely given, because you have abundance to share. Enjoy knitting this stranded colorwork beanie in lots of different colorways just in time for holiday gift giving! This little hat knits up quickly in a lightweight but warm woolen-spun worsted weight yarn. The pattern is written for five different sizes ranging from baby to adult XL.

Sizes and Measurements:
Sizes: Baby (Child S/M, Child L/XL, Adult S/M, Adult L/XL)
Finished circumference: 16 (18, 20, 22, 24) inches 40, (46, 51, 56, 61) cm unstretched, after wet blocking.

Materials:
Yarn: Shown in Woolstok Worsted by Blue Sky Fibers.
Main color (MC): One 50 g hank (123 yds/112 m)
Contrast colors: One 50 g hank each (123 yds/112 m) for contrast colors A and B

Gauge: 24 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches 10 cm in stockinette and stranded colorwork after wet blocking

Suggested needles:
A: US size 6 (4 mm) 16 in (40 cm) circular or dpn for ribbing or 2 US sizes (1 mm) smaller than size needed to obtain gauge in stockinette.
B: US size 8 (5 mm) 16 in (40 cm) circular or dpn for body of hat or size needed to obtain gauge in stockinette and stranded colorwork. Some knitters may choose to use a larger size needle for the stranded colorwork section to maintain an even gauge.
US size 8 (5 mm) dpn to complete crown if using circulars or size needed to obtain gauge.

Additional supplies:
Stitch markers: one unique for BOR, plus additional markers. A locking removable stitch marker for BOR is convenient when switching to dpn.
Large-eye yarn needle for finishing.

I hope you enjoy knitting this pattern! I would love to see your finished projects on Ravelry!
