A lovely pattern from the early 1940s or late 1930s for a ladies two piece swimsuit with intarsia bird pattern.

The pattern consists of written instructions and a chart for the colorwork.

Materials Required:
150 gr. (5.3 oz) dark wool,
30 gr. (1oz) medium colored wool,
30 gr. light wool.
Two pairs needles size 1½ mm & 2 mm (US 000 & 0),
1 crochet hook size 2½ mm (B1 / C2),
1.50 meters (60 in) ribbon.

Measurements:
bust 85 cm (33,5 in),
length of panties 34 cm (13,4 in).

Tension:
34 sts. measures 10 cm (4 in).

No yarn weight given.

For a larger size use slightly thicker yarn and 2 mm & 2½ mm needles (US 0 & 1.5) such that 30 sts. equals 10 cm (4 in). (Materials required: 180 gr. (6.3 oz) dark wool, 40 gr. (1.4 oz) medium colored wool, 40 gr. light wool.)
