Here is an A-B-C stripe combination that uses 3 very different yarns: sock-weight wool, doubled lace-weight Tencel and think rayon-metallic.There is a lot of both color and texture variation that hides side shaping and radical stitch-count changes. Details at the closure and color use the subtle striping to define direction. Select colors that are similar in weight and feel, but don’t worry about matching. Some accents and variation is desirable.
