As a mother who could never get my kids to wear hats…..I found that creating these fun inspired characters was a brilliant way to make them never want to take them off!! My kids now love hats! They inspire others to wear them….and lets face it….they are just plain fun even for adults!!!

This is a PATTERN only, not a finished product. This is for the pieces of a “Gekko” crochet hat that I have designed myself. The pieces are to add to your own style beanie. There is no beanie pattern here, just basic instruction on creating one. If you need help I would be happy to direct you to the one that I use on all my hats.

There is direction on how to make these pieces to fit all sizes of hat from newborn to adult. The various hooks listed help for the different sizes, but are not necessary to make the pattern.

Depending on the hat size you are making, no more than one skein in the main colors is needed. In fact you should be able to make multiple hats from one.

I spent many hours in the making of this hat and pattern. This design was inspired by the character from the tv show PJ Masks.
