Gelato Bucket Hat is a fun, wavy and colorful crochet hat, perfect for hot summer days, vacations, festivals. It’s a perfect scrap project if you wanna a colorful hat but you can also make it in just one color.
Sizing of this hat is based on gauge so you use different size hooks to make different size.

Sizes:
XS(S)M
Head circumference:
53-54, 55-56, 57-58 cm
20.8-21.3, 21.6-22, 22.4-22.8 in

You will need:
• 25(30)35 g of color A and C and 15(17)20 g of color B, D, and E or 90(100)120g of one color of Drops Safran (50 g/1,8 oz = 160 m/175yrd) or other sport weight yarn (or DK yarn if you are using 3,5 or 4 mm hook and don’t like how larger gauge creates gaps in the fabric).
◦ that is 290(320)385 m or 315(350)420 yrd

• 3 mm or 3,5 mm or 4 mm hook or hook that meets the gauge for your size

Gauges (flat single crochet)
XS: 22 sc x 20 rows
S: 21 sc x 20 rows
M: 19 sc x 17 rows

There are only basic stitches used in the pattern:
- Single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch.
Skills used in this pattern:
- Crochet in the round, magic loop, increases.
