Simplicity, texture and colour.

Suitable for beginners who have a little crochet experience, this is an easy pattern, using stitch repeats. The texture is created using back post double crochet and a quick joining method.

Each square measures approx. 12”/ 30cm, with these instructions making a blanket that is the perfect size for a baby/toddler blanket or lap blanket while you’re out and about measuring approx. 95cm / 38” square. Simply add more squares (and yarn!) to make a larger blanket.

I have used a gorgeous Organic 100% cotton in DK weight to make my blanket, with six bright, happy colours… they remind me of enjoying a Gelato by the Beach!

You can, of course, choose your own yarn. Keep in mind that if you choose a different yarn weight then your final blanket size will be different.
