Summer skirt with a few fun extras

“Gelato” (Italian) – ice cream.
It has been a long day, the heat is slowly fading away. As the sun is about to set, I stroll through the city and stop at the first ice cream place: “Una pallina di fragola, per piacere” – One scoop of strawberry, please! I feel instantly refreshed and am now ready to enjoy the rest of the evening…

The timeless and classic shape of this skirt will make it a wonderful long-time addition to your wardrobe. It goes well either dressed up with a blouse and sandals or combined with a shirt and sneakers for a casual look.

This summer skirt is a fun and crafty project for warmer days. The main body is knitted flat in one piece with increases on the hips. The two side edges will then be united in the front with buttons. While the knit itself is quite basic, the details are what make it such a fun project: Seaming in a waistband, adding button bands and of course making two cute little pockets!

SIZES M, L, 2XL-5XL have not been tested. If you are within this size range, please messagge me as I would like to offer you a free copy to test size.
