Sizing: XS (S, M, L) (XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL) 5XL to fit an approximate waist circumference of 57-65 (65-74, 74-82, 82-91) (91-100, 100-109, 109-117, 117-126) 126-135 cm or 23-26 (26-29.5, 29.5-33, 33-36.5) (36.5-40, 40-43.5, 43.5-47, 47-50.5) 50.5-54 inches.

Gauge: 20 stitches x 28 rows in stockinette with garter stripes every 5/6th row, on a 4.5 mm (US 7) needles = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches), measured after blocking.

Needles: 4.5 mm (US 7) / 60 cm (24 inches) or 80 cm (32 inches) circular needles or 4.5 mm (US 7) straight needles. 4 mm (US 6) / 60 cm (24 inches) or 80 cm (32 inches) circular needles.

Materials: recommended 150 (150, 200, 200) (200, 250, 250, 300) 300 g of Belle by DROPS design (50 g = 120 m (131 yds)) and 100 (100, 100, 100) (150, 150, 150, 150) 200 g of Cotton light by DROPS design (50g=105m(115yds))

Sample is knitted in Belle by DROPS design in color 23 (mint cream) and Cotton light by DROPS design in color 33 (blue bonnet); size XS on a model that is 161 cm (5.3 ft) tall and has a waist of 65 cm (26 in).

You will also need 2.5 cm (1 in) width elastic band.

SIZE GUIDE
Gelma shorts are designed to have approximately 1-5 cm (0.5-2 in) of positive ease in hip area and 10-15 cm (4-6 in) of positive ease in thigh area. Choose a size that fits your body proportions best.

Note: the waist can stretch up to 30 cm (12 in) at most to fit over wider hips.
