Creating this hat was a lot of fun and just as much fun to knit. I’ve worked in the fossil and mineral business for many years and once this project was complete it reminded me of gemstones placed perfectly on a grid. With its short cables moving in opposite directions and varying fabric textures, this pattern is very engaging. Waiting to see the results makes it rewarding in the end. This hat is knit in the round starting from the bottom up. With its style and design, it will make the perfect accessory. This hat is one-size and can fit women, teens, and most men.
