Gem Stone Scarf
Crocheted scarf made of hexagons using 12 different colours of Scheepjes Stonewashed yarn and a natural colour for the border and tassels.
I’ve written it in UK terminology and included a short video to show how I do the join-as-you-go method, and a link to Cherry Hearts tassel tutorial.
Suggested yarn: Scheepjes Stonewashed
1 x 50g ball in colours: 829 Obsidian, 834 Morganite, 813 Amazonite, 808 Corundum Ruby, 810 Garnet, 816 Coral, 806 Canada Jade, 807 Red Jasper, 802 Smokey Quartz, 809 Yellow Jasper, 818 Lilac Quartz
2 x 50g balls in colour 815 Green Agate
2 x 50g balls in colour 801 Moonstone
3.5mm crochet hook
Size of each motif: 8cm edge to edge. 9cm point to point.
Finished size of scarf (excluding tassels): 100cm x 41cm
Gauge isn’t entirely critical for this project, but if exact gauge is not obtained, yarn yardage will differ.
