The recommended yarn in the Australian published book was Patons Double Caressa, which is not the yarn listed in the version put in by the person who did the pattern for the blanket; presumably this was a different edition here in Australia.

5 balls each of 2 colours A and B of Double Caressa were listed for the whole set of clothing (not including the blanket). I do not know the yardage, as this yarn is discontinued.
