Gemma Wrist Warmers
Beautiful, simple, versatile ~ what’s not to love about these wrist warmers? No purling or shaping, just easy knitting. A super-comfortable curled edge with a slight flare. Pull them down over your fingers or push them up off your hands, wear with or without gloves. Very chic.
YARN
These are a great excuse to fall in love with yet another skein-or-two of Noro Silk Garden.
Pattern includes a note on choosing 2 skeins that will give you a matched pair, or just have fun making two that don’t match exactly — they’ll still be gorgeous. If you don’t want them to match, dividing one skein into 2 equal amounts will be enough yarn to knit a pair.
SIZING
Instructions are provided for 3 sizes (women’s small, medium, and large), as well as for making them larger or smaller if you’d like. Length is 9 1/2” / 24 cm.
NEEDLES
Knit in the round using 2 sizes of double pointed needles. The smaller needles are the size suggested to get the gauge specified. Needles 2 sizes larger (than those used to get gauge) are suggested for a loose cast on and bind off.
SKILLS USED
Long tail cast on, knit in the round. Optional: sewn bind off (instructions provided).
