Gemstone Solitaire
I dearly love gemstones, but they are often too heavy to use for crochet jewelry. Since I just can’t imagine making jewelry without the beauty of gemstones, I crocheted a setting for the amazonite bead in this ring. The bead firs snugly into the bezel and creates a lovely gemlike effect.
Materials:
Dead-soft gold-filled wire, 28 gauge (.3mm), about 6yd (5.5m)
1 flat, round amazonite bead, 20 x 22mm
Wire cutters
Multipurpose glue
