Gender Reveal Baby Blanket
Lately, gender reveals have been getting a bad rap because of people starting forest fires (sorry, Smokey!) with their pink or blue fireworks or smothering wildlife with color canons. But what if there was a way to do a gender reveal safely, without a risk to anyone or any thing? What if it was physically impossible for your gender reveal device to cause harm?
Enter the Gender Reveal Baby Blanket. The only thing dangerous about this baby is the fact that it might put you to sleep too quickly. It’s so squishy and soft and cozy…and…and…
And you get to keep it forever. You can announce your baby’s gender with it, then cuddle him or her in the hospital or let baby use it for tummy time on the floor.
You might be thinking, “Isn’t that just a baby blanket? What makes it so special?” This blanket has been carefully crafted so that a small heart will appear on the inside without being able to be seen from the outside. The multicolored border provides for a bit of eye trickery in case somehow a bit of the heart were to show through. I’ve included instructions on how to fold and how to reveal the blanket.
Uses 1 wheel of I Wanna Make a Blankie Yarn in Optic White or 3 skeins of Bernat Baby Yarn in White and 1 skein each of Baby Pink and Baby Blue.
