• Finished size: if made with a D (3.25mm) hook & worsted weight yarn, the doll stands 8 to 8 1/2 inches (20.5 to 21.5cm) tall, depending on gauge, stuffing, and hair.
• Procedure: This doll is crocheted from the feet up, with arms, head, hair, and vest created separately. All rounds are continuous spirals.
• Gauge: for the doll: tight enough that the stuffing doesn’t show through. For the vest: gauge is given in the pattern.
• Skill level: Intermediate. This means comfort with sc, hdc, dc, increasing and decreasing, and working in the front or back loops. The thumbs are easy 2-dc bobbles, which you can google if you need to.

A list of yarns used in the prototypes is included, but any worsted weight yarn will work.
