Genevieve is a super fast fun cowl that is more than just a cabled cowl.

The dropped stitches just before bind off add a unique look to the pretty cables. This unique feature takes a beautiful cabled cowl and take is a step further. Add a couple of fun buttons and you have a quick gift that is sure to please.

This cowl can be knit in any type of yarn . You may need to add or decrease stitches when altering yarn.

To determine the number of stitches needed knit a swatch of 10 stitches with the yarn chosen and measure the width. The scarf should be at least 17 inches wide. Mul-tiply the number of stitches by the measurement until you reach at least 17 inches. For example if your swatch measures 2 inches. You will need 90 stitches plus 2 to equal the measurements because the stitch repeat needs 10 stitches.
