Gengar is a mischievous looking Pokémon with colors that really pop in a hat. This is my tribute to Gengar in hat form. Wide spacing between colors makes this a challenging stranded knitting hat with several rows of long runs. I recommend using an intarsia approach for the eyes and mouth. Depending on your comfort with stranded knitting, you might consider omitting or embroidering the light purple outline. This hat can be challenging for a beginner. I highly recommend taking the extra time to knit a lining for this hat to hide the long runs, although it isn’t strictly necessary if you remember to catch your runs every 3-4 stitches.
