Yarn, Yardage, and Colors
The samples use sport to DK weight, but the pattern works well in anything from a fingering to an aran weight. It pairs best with a solid, self-striping, or gradient - variegated yarn will obscure the lace down the center.

dc, ch, Chainless starting double crochet (optional), Working into the ch-space, Working flat

The scarf is worked in one piece, from the bottom up. It features solid dc sections with a column of lace worked up the center. It’s a two-row repeat and can be adjusted to any length.

Overview of the Finished Object
