Note
These socks are knitted from the toe up, with Judy’s Magic Cast-On for standard toe and a short row heel with adjustable foot length. At the leg, the beginning of the round point will be repositioned to accommodate the outside leg motif. The instructions are for Magic Loop method, and needles are referred to as “top needle” (TN) and “bottom needle” (BN). It is suggested to use a removable marker to indicate the TN. The socks can be knitted using DPNs, and needle 1 and 2 correspond to TN, needle 3 and 4 to BN.
At the heel turn, the pattern suggests using the Wrap & Turn Short Rows Method. However, you can use other methods, such as German or Shadow Short Rows.

Note
Judy’s Magic Cast-Onを用いた標準的なつま先と引き返し編みのかかとの靴下. つま先から編む. 脚で周の始まりを調整してモチーフを編む. 編み方はマジックループの方法で説明しており, 足の前面の針をTN, 後面の針をBNとする. 区別するために段数マーカーをTNの目につけておくと良い. 5本針を使用する場合は, 針1, 2がTNに, 針3, 4がBNに相当する.
かかとの引き返しにWrap and Turnを用いているが好みの引き返しの方法を用いても良い.
