Gentian Cowl forms the final part of the matching set with Gentian Mitts and Gentian Hat, in collaboration with ULA+LIA yarns.

It features a ribbed brim, cables and wrapped (smocking) stitches. It is knit entirely in the round. It would make an excellent introduction to cable and wrapped stitches.

The sample is knit in ULA+LIA DK Mongolian Cashmere, and used just under one skein.

The cowl stitch pattern is charted only.
