Gentle Armor Top
Sometimes we all need a little gentle armor to get through the day.
The Gentle Armor Top has a bold textured yoke that transitions to a subtle slipped stitch pattern and finishes in a 2 x 2 ribbed hem. The top is knit top-down with US13 / 9mm needles with raglan increases and cap sleeves. For a less relaxed collar, cast on with US11 / 8mm needles and change to US13 / 9mm needles in round 11.
Needles:
- US13 / 9mm circular needles with at least 24” cord for knitting collar and body in the round
- US13 / 9mm DPNs for collar, if not using magic loop technique
- US11 / 8mm circular needles with at least 24” cord for knitting hem in the round
Other materials: tapestry needle for weaving in ends, 11 stitch markers with one different from the rest to mark beginning of round.
Yarn weight: Super bulky (6)
