Inspired by the legends of the Middle Ages, this scarf will give you the look of a gentle Knight.

Maybe it won’t help you conquer the Grail, but it certainly will protect you from the bitter cold of winter and perhaps (who knows ?) will it allow you to please the Lady of your thoughts ?

Using only simple techniques (Cast on, knit, purl, cast off), the stitch combination gives it the very special look of traditional textured knits.

This scarf is designed to be knitted in any well defined DK yarn of your choice : even the darkest colours will showcase the contrast between the center pattern and the two moss stitch ribs that structure the edge.

Gauge is not critical for this pattern.
Using the yarn “Baronval” from Bergère de France, the scarf is 1.6 meters long (63 inches) and 21 centimeters large (9.5 inches).

Inspirée des légendes du Moyen-Age, cette écharpe évoque les armures des preux chevaliers de cette époque.
Elle ne vous aidera certes pas à conquérir le Graal, mais elle vous protègera efficacement contre le froid mordant de l’hiver, et (qui sait ?) vous permettra peut-être de gagner le coeur de la Dame de vos pensées ?

Une combinaison de plusieurs points donne à cette écharpe cette texture si particulière qui en fait son caractère. Le motif ressortira très bien, même si vous choisissez un fil foncé, à condition qu’il soit bien défini.
