Sophisticated, refined, elegant. Sir Percival, the Gentleman Bear, is a genteel brute, capable of intellectual discourse and violent fits of rage.
Complete with his attached monocle, top hat, and cane, he’s ready to hit the town and then hibernate for months on end.

Using size 3 needles and DK weight yarn, my bear stood 11.5 inches tall. But bigger yarn/needles would yield a bigger bear, I reckon.

This pattern is knit mostly in the round. I used magic loop method, but dpns would work just as well.

the legs, body, and head are knit as one piece and then you sew everything else on separately.

The suit does not come off. It’s kind of a lazy cheat, but it’s also fast.

If you want to do the monocle and cane portion of the pattern, you’ll need pipe cleaners (1-2) and glue.
