The Gentleness Sweater Pillow is the 5th pattern in my 12-pattern Fruit of the Spirit Collection. This heirloom pillow incorporates knit, purl, cables, seed stitch, and seaming. Pattern uses charts for the front cables and written directions for everything else.

Yarn requirements are 876 yards of worsted weight yarn, held double for the front and single for the back. Pattern recommends Ella Rae Classic.

Gauge is held double 4.5 sts to the inch in seed stitch and held single 4 sts to the inch in seed stitch on a US 8 after light blocking. Finished project size is 16” square. The main goal is to make sure the fabric is dense enough that the pillow doesn’t show through, so if you are tighter or looser, just buy a pillow form that fits (this will affect yarn consumption).
