Geo Two is a shadow knitting shawl pattern. The pattern itself is based on a geometric repeat pattern. The shadow colour work means when you walk past the shawl or move wearing it the colours ‘shift’.

Knitting techniques

Shadow knitting only involves knit and purl stitches, cast on and cast off. To get the Jamo edging there are a few yarn overs and simple decreased. A beginner would easily be able to complete.

Materials

You can use any yarn. I have used 8ply (DK). I also recommend going smaller with your needles, at least 0.5mm lover than the suggested on the yarn. This will give you better definition. That’s all you need apart from the essentials, scissors, stitch markers and a little bit of patience.
