The Geode Beanie was inspired by the beautiful crystals that can be revealed inside the most ordinary looking stones. In a solid color, the beautiful faux braid accent adds something special to the texture of a favorite beanie style. I love that you can switch it up and make the accent in a contrasting color to make your hat even more amazing and unique. The possibilities really are endless!

For this pattern I used 2 balls of Lion Brand “Hometown USA” or 3 strands of worsted weight yarn such as Hobby Lobby “I Love This Yarn” held together for some fun color play!

• Gauge – Hat should measure 3.5” across after completion of Rnd 2. Hat will measure 7” after completion of Rnd 4.
• Finished Size – Finished hat will fit most teen/adults. Hat will be slightly more slouched on a smaller head and more fitted on a larger head.
• Pattern is worked in rounds from top down, do not turn.
