Geode Butterfly is knitted on 6mm needles and uses an unusual combination of 70 grams of 8 ply and approximately 90 grams of 12 ply yarn.

The shawl starts with the 8 ply middle section. The 12 ply edge sections are picked up and knitted in sections.

3 buttons that allow it to be worn a number of different ways.

Easy lace sections provide a nice contrast to the garter stitch sections .

An interesting, but easy knit that creates an textured asymmetrical shawl .
