Enjoy making this colorful tortoise! This design heavily referenced real tortoises’ proportions and anatomy, allowing for an interesting and unique construction process.

You will need: 4.5mm hook
3 colors of weight 4 yarn for the tortoise’s shell, undershell, and flesh.
I used Loops and Threads facets in the color 42 for the shell, and solid grey and purple wool yarns from my stash for the rest of the tortoise.
Needle, stitch markers, stuffing, 9mm safety eyes
