This pattern is my first design, I have spent months working on it and am very excited for you all to see it. It is called Geometric Lines. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

The pattern uses a technique called overlay mosaic crochet.
You use Single and Double Crochet stitches (US Terms). The Single Crochet stitches are only worked into the back loops, and the Double Crochet stitches are worked into the front loops two rows down. You crochet one row at a time alternating colours and cutting the yarn at the end of the row. If you’re left-handed you work from left to right and right-handed from right to left. You only work on the front side; the back side will become stripped.

In this download you will get;
18 page document of the written pattern for left and right handed crocheters.
A separate chart.
Information and pictures of my testers makes.
These are all separate PDF’s.

With this pattern you can make a number of things such as cushions, scarfs, table runners, wall hangings, bags, rugs, different sized blankets such as baby blankets, throws, and afghans etc.
I have made a 53 by 56.5 inch blanket.

I have included yarn amounts for different size blankets however this is what I have followed:
For a 53 by 56.5 inch blanket;
I’ve done 5 x 36 stitches across = 180 + 4 = 184 = 53 inches width.
3 x 62 rows = 186 + 2 foundation rows + 1 for row 63 of the pattern = 189 in total = 56.5 inches height.

You will need approximately:
25 50g balls of Colour A 1,875m Drops Uni Colour in Black.
25 50g balls of Colour B 1,875m Drops Uni Colour in Off White.

Thank you so much to all my amazing testers; Karin Geens, Heather Morrison, Denise Clark, Jody Varga, Kate Drury, Ilene Biesleski, Mary Chandler, Wendy Ryan, Lela Craftonella, Debra Whitmore, and Judie Portbert Shamis.
