Geometric Shapes Scarf Spirals/Tribal inspired
This design is inspired by traditional tribal/ethnic prints. I love their black lines, mirrored images and geometric shapes but especially their meaning and history. Their cultural importance is significant.
This scarf is made using overlay mosaic crochet technique with the pattern visible on both sides, using the negative stitch. It contains a digital chart, mosaic crochet explanation, negative stitch explanations, advice on how to read the chart, photos, full written instructions
The actual digital chart is 77 stitches by 47 rows = scarf size approx 127 x 20 cm.
Each chart can be used to make the scarf, a pillow, a bag, anything you like…Your creativity has no boundaries and I would love to see what you
make!
You will need two contrasting colours to make this pattern. I have used DK / 8 ply yarn.
1 x 100g balls of black yarn
1 x 100g ball of white yarn
100g = approx 280m
