These socks feature a combination of simple but elegant fair isle colorwork designs, with geometric motifs running from cuff to toe.

The socks are knitted top down from cuff to toe, with a ribbed cuff, stranded colorwork in the round, and a short row heel. The pattern is suitable for low-intermediate level knitters, or advanced beginners comfortable with colorwork.

Materials

Needles:

  • 2.5 mm (US 1.5) circular needles

Note: This pattern was designed to be knitted in the round on 80 cm circular needles using the magic loop technique and instructions are written accordingly, but feel free to adjust for a different length cord or DPNs if that is your preference.

Yarn:

This pattern was designed and knitted with Myboshi 50|50 in Weiß/991 (White) and Krokodil/920 (Green), and requires the following approximate quantities.

  • White: 60 g / 132 m / 145 yds (70 g / 154 m / 169 yds, 85 g / 187 m / 205 yds)
  • Green: 41 g / 91 m / 100 yds (48 g / 106 m / 116 yds, 58 g / 128 m / 140 yds)

The socks can also be made with any other DK weight yarn that can achieve the correct gauge.
