Thanks for your interest in my latest rectangular pattern Geometric Spirit, I like challenging myself and this design bent my brain inside out, but the finished result was worth it! All the information you need to create your own is right here, and videos/pictures to get you started!

I used a 5mm hook and 4.5 for the last 20 rounds in Drops Paris, 50g, 75m, 100% cotton Aran and DMC Natura Medium, 50g, 75m.
Drops Paris in Brown 44, 25 skeins.
Total detailed colour 1875m. Drops Paris in Peach 27, 3 skeins, 225m. DMC Natura Medium, colour 310, 7 skeins, 525m. Drops Paris in Rust 65, 17 skeins, 1275m. Total background colour 2,025m. Total usage for the blanket, 3,900m. The size of my rug is 119cm 47 inches by 153cm 60 inches.

IN 4PLY YARN ⬇️
Christina O’Connor’s stunning blanket was made using a 2.5mm hook with Scheepjes whirlette in Macadamia for the detailed colour, 231g/1051m, and 260g Hobbi Friends Multiwheel for the background colour, colour 21, 1040m. It measures 92/75cm.
Barbara Glueck used for the background Yarn Art ‘Rosegarden’ 100% cotton, 1000m, 250g per cake, 255g/1020m. Detailed colour was ALIZE Cotton Gold 330m/100g 55% cotton 45% acrylic, she used 400g/1320m total, in Black 205g/677m and Brown 195g/643m. Barbara’s beautiful blanket measures 105/85cm
with a 2.75mm hook and 2.5mm for the last 5 rounds. Total weight 655g.
Caroline used Scheepjes Whirl in shade Scrumptious Lush, 1.3 cakes were used and for the detailed colour, Scheepjes Whirlette in Tasty Treat, 2.5 cakes with a hook size 2.5. Her beautiful blanket is smaller because of using 4ply yarn, it measures 81/60cm.
IN DK YARN ⬇️
Terri Griffith’s beautiful blanket created using Lion Brand Mandala for the background, shade Chewy, 491g/1933yds, and for the detailed colour Bernat Softee Baby in Navy, 660g/1707yds. A 3.75mm hook was used and the measurements are 47/59 inches.
Pauline Billingham used a sparkly Blue, no labels, 545g for the background colour and for the detailed colour, Stylecraft Special DK Royal 1117, 661g. Her gorgeous blanket measures 154/130cm with a 3mm hook.
ARAN/WORSTED YARN ⬇️
Terry Parmentier used Red Heart Soft yarn, 100% acrylic, 1794yds of White for the background colour 1536yds in Really Red. Terry’s amazing blanket measures 55.5/68.5 inches.
Joni Wallng’s fabulous blanket is a twin bed size using Premier Momenti Enchanted Forest 437yds/400m cakes, total 4 cakes for the background colour and for the detailed colour, Premier Anti-Pilling Worsted 180yds/165m per skein, 11 skeins were used with a 5mm hook.
Jane Hay used Scheepjes Cahlista Aran weight for her amazing blanket in various colours. 35g Old Lace, 168g Sweet Mandarin, 330g Vintage Peach, 471g Apricot, 1,004g of Charcoal. It measures 49/61 inches using a 5mm hook and 4mm for the last 20 rounds.
For Kelly Moredock’s amazing blanket she used Pound of Love Yarn in Antique White for the background, 1700yds, and the same yarn for the detailed colour in Waterfall, 1550yds.
