This pattern is available in print for £3.50.

Add a modern twist to the classic hexie motif by working different sections in a bold combination of yarns. The geo shapes created give a graphic feel, while Emma’s striking colour choices pop against the clean white backdrop, creating a statement home accessory.
We can’t resist her use of hot pink and gold, but as you’ll only need a small amount of yarn for each triangular section, this cushion is ideal for using up odd quantities leftover from other projects.

Instructions
The cushion front is made from hexagon and half hexagon shapes, crocheted using the colour patterns in the diagram overleaf, and sewn together following the same.
Hexagons are worked in the round, and half hexagons are worked by turning at the end of each row.
Once the hexagons are sewn together to form the cushion front, the edge is crocheted to make the square shape of the cushion.
The cushion back is made by overlapping two pieces of fabric to create an envelope-style opening, but you could make another side of crochet hexagons if you prefer.
