George Bailey Beanie
This beanie was conceived as a way to pay tribute to my beloved cat, George Bailey, who completed his earthly life in November, 2018, right before the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday.
He was a friendly ginger kitty with awesome stripes, so I decided a striped beanie would be a good way to honor his memory. Worked in the round in a relatively easy stitch pattern, this project comes together quickly and the puffs ensure a soft and squoishy beanie. This is a superb vehicle for any gradient leftovers you may have hanging around. Mix some or all of the colors in the pom pom, or opt for a single color fur version. The latter would be George Bailey’s pick, if that helps with your decision-making.
