Knit a fishy! George is a knitted fish and uses a Fair-Isle colour work pattern to create the curvy scales. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, this fish is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and domed buttons for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - The fish is 18cm long.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
