When I had my daughter a few years ago, it was knitting a bonnet for her that got me back into knitting again after many many years away. From that moment, I was lured back into this fantastic creative craft and will be forever grateful to that little bonnet…
And so, I thought it was time to design my own. When I saw this simple slip stitch pattern, it had such great texture and looked so squishy that my first thought was to create a bonnet. This bonnet has great coverage keeping that little head warm along with a chin strap secured with a button to keep it nicely in place.
