Knit our Georgy the Giraffe Jumper suitable to fit a child from birth to 3 years old.

Design
The front, back and sleeves are knitted separately. The front has a giraffe motif knitted using the intarsia method following a chart. One shoulder has a 3 button opening to make it easier to lift over the child’s head. You need to pick up stitches for the neckline.

Sizes
The instructions are given for 4 sizes: 0-6, 6-12, 12-24 and 24-36 months old.

Yarn
The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply).
Sweater shown in main picture is for size 24-36m and knitted using:
Sirdar Snuggly DK in shades Pastel Blue (0321), White (0251) and Stylecraft Special DK in shades Mustard (1823), Spice (1711), Mocha (1064), Black (1002)

Needles
Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.
