This hat is knit in the round with a simple six-stitch, two-round stitch pattern. The stitch pattern is easy to knit and easy to remember … the second round is all knit!

A quick knit that can be your take-along project; the stitch pattern is easy to read so you can put your knitting down and pick it up later without losing your place.

The hat was designed for a local hats for kids project and is offered in 3 sizes: small, medium and large. For those who knit for adults, the medium and large sizes will fit small and average size adult heads.

All three sizes were knit using the same size needles and the same yarn; and modeled on the same glass head so you can see the differences in fit. Instructions unique to each size are provided in separate columns in table format. Other notes/instructions applicable to all three sizes are provided about the section.
