Inspired by the motifs on Kali’s Cowl, Geoui is a shawl that is worked from point-to-point. Gorgeously lacy and dangerously addicting, the edging is worked as you go, so you can make the most of the yarn you have by working half of your yarn to the increases before decreasing.

This versatile piece can be worn as a shawl: tied in the front or the back, or as a scarf, wrapped around once, or even twice.

I named this shawl Geoui for a few reasons. First, the edging is almost the same as Kali’s Cowl. Second, the shawl is almost perfectly symmetrical. Third, Kali is Korean, so I chose a Korean name.

This pattern is fully charted and written out. It is written in US terms.
