Make your own sweet giraffe with this easy to follow crochet pattern with step by step tutorial and photos to help along the way!
This pattern is worked in the round with the legs, body and head as one piece. You will want to be familiar with using a magic circle, invisible decreases and changing colors in Amigurumi. You can find more tips plus the free version of this pattern on my blog, graceandyarn.com!
Finished product measures approximately 13 inches tall.
Skill level: Easy/Intermediate - this is a beginner friendly pattern with some sewing of parts
Materials
• Size 4 worsted weight yarn (150 yards of yellow, small amount of brown and ivory)
• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• 12 mm safety eyes
• Crochet thread/embroidery floss for facial features
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Stuffing
• Stitch markers
Abbreviations: US terminology
MC – Magic circle
SC- Single crochet
SC INC- Single crochet increase
INV DEC- Invisible decrease
DC – Double crochet
Sl St – Slip stitch
