This edging can be knit with any weight yarn and appropriate sized needles.

The pattern was first published in Canada in 1891 and has been rewritten into modern knitting language, charted and test knit by Sarah Bradberry.

Please note: This pattern was rewritten on May 2nd 2016 in order to make the hearts join up more neatly. The correction has been tested on stitch-maps.com and knit and a new chart has been made.
