I designed and knit these mittens for a friend in Holland.

I wanted to use a traditional two color Fair Isle method introducing contemporary colors. My hope was to show a familiar theme in a new way.

The pattern may at first seem complex, but after reviewing the chart, you will see there is only one section that really calls for your utmost attention.

The mittens have been designed in a unisex size. Approximately 8” around or 4” across the back of the hand. The length as well as the thumb can be increased in length if needed (see instructions).
