Get Garter - Beret
Knitting a classic beret shape sideways involves short rows on both ends, creating volume above the brim as well as the swirl crown shaping. This example is worked on the bias for extra dynamism.
Available as a single pattern or as part of the Get Garter collection.
Get Garter is an entry-level guide to sideways Hat knitting.
Six different constructions are explained, supplemented with thorough explanations of the underlying structure and maths, empowering you to venture beyond the pattern and create your own unique Hats. Furthermore, each design has a fully written pattern provided in 4 sizes.
Please Note….
The Get Garter eBook contains all 6 patterns and all 6 construction guides. It also includes an extensive chapter on construction, maths, sizing, gauge and more.
The single patterns each include the pattern and construction guide, but cannot contain all the knowledge that the eBook has.
If you want to explore sideways Hat knitting further, or even learn a little about its methods, then I suggest that the eBook is a better option over the single patterns. The eBook is so so much more than the sum of its parts.
