This pattern requires 2 different contrasting colors of yarn - usually black and white. I used Malabrigo Rios in Whales Road and Lion Brand DIY Glow yarn.

Skills: knitting in the round, knitting flat, stranded knitting color work, kfb increases, ribbing stitch and picking up stitches
