Ever since the first time I tried mosaic crochet, I’ve had this idea percolating in my head, inspired by Maze Craze for the Atari 2600, and I finally decided it needed to make an appearance in the real world. This enormous throw blanket is a complete, functional maze. Mosaic crochet is a perfect technique for this idea, which otherwise would require a mind-numbing quantity of color changes, and the tidy stripes on the wrong side are great for a project like a throw blanket. I won’t be teaching how to do mosaic crochet in this pattern, so you should be familiar with the technique prior to beginning.
