Welcome to my Get to Gnome Me pattern.
This is a gnome for any occasion, a gnome you can decorate to suit any person, décor, season or event. As you create you can Get to Gnome your creation and fill it with your style, personality and sense of fun. You can add a beard or do one without or even add some plaits for a girly gnome. Let your gnome speak to you and fill it with love as you crochet. Replace the cane with some flowers or any other decorations you like. Above all else have fun and Get to Gnome Me.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Finished Size: Varies depending on the yarn you use.
Gauge: no gauge necessary just a firm stitch that suits amigurumi so the fill doesn’t show through.

You’ll need:

• 3mm Hook for 8 ply, 4mm hook for 10ply or adjust your size to match your yarn.
• Yarn needle, Scissors, Pins, Stitch Markers.
• Wadding for stuffing your gnome, florist wire or pipe cleaner approximately 30cm to 35cm long for the candy cane.
• 2 small organza bags approximately 7.6cm x 10cm and a medium approximately 12.5cm x 18.5cm organza bag. Rice to fill the boots and bottom of the body or you can use small fish tank gravel.

Yarn: any ply yarn - I recommend cotton for a strong finish.
I used – Fiddlesticks finch 10ply Cotton 71gms / 119m per ball.
C1 – 6211 Red for boots, hands, hat and candy cane x 1 ball
C2 – 6203 Jute for skin colour and candy cane x 1 ball
C3 – 6242 Mint for trims, twirls and decoration x 1 ball
C4 - 6201 White for the beard x 1 ball (optional)
