Gevlochten Blocks
A quick and fun stashbusting project, these easy gevlochten blocks are a great project for experimenting. Try using more colors or variegated yarns for an interesting look. Or use different weights to create new sizes.
Materials Required:
60 yds pink worsted weight yarn
80 yds yellow worsted weight yarn
100 yds mint worsted weight yarn
US 7 (4.5 mm) straight needles
Tapestry needle
Sewing machine (or sewing needle)
4.5 oz cotton stuffing
Ten pieces of cotton fabric 3½” x 3½”
Four pieces of cotton fabric 3½” x 7”
Four pieces of cotton fabric 3½” x 1¾”
Sewing thread to match fabric
